Sizing & fitting guide

The right fit makes all the difference.

Kids' feet grow fast — and every foot is different. Use this guide to measure at home, find the right size, and fit your Omongo shoes correctly from day one.

For children aged 4 – 8 years · EU 27 – 33

Step 1 — measure

How to measure at home

All you need is a piece of paper, a pen, and a ruler. Measure in millimetres for accuracy, and always use the larger foot.

1

Place paper on floor

Lay a blank A4 sheet flat against a wall.

2

Stand heel to wall

Heel touching the wall, foot flat on paper.

3

Trace around foot

Trace both feet. Always use the longer measurement.

4

Measure heel to toe

Measure in millimetres to the longest toe.

5

Match to the chart

Use the size chart below to find your EU size.

6

Check the fit

A thumb's width at the toe means room to grow.

Always measure in the afternoon — feet swell slightly through the day. If between two sizes, always size up. Our shoes include approximately 10mm of built-in growth room.

Step 2 — find your size

Step 3 — your stage

Omongo stages for 4–8 year olds

Both stages cover the 4–8 year range. Choose based on your child's activity level and foot development.

Growing

4 – 6 years · EU 27 – 30

UK 9.5 – 11.5 · US 10 – 12

Active, confident walkers who are running, jumping, and exploring. Flexible soles and wide toe boxes support natural foot development at its fastest phase.

Kid+

6 – 8 years · EU 31 – 33

UK 12 – 1 · US 13 – 1.5

School-age children with more structured needs. Durable materials and supportive structure that keep up with their growing independence.

Step 4 — fit for comfort

How to fit your Omongo shoe

Follow these 5 steps every time to ensure a safe, comfortable fit.

1

Open all fastenings

Loosen velcro fully and pull tongue toward the toe.

2

Slide foot in

Guide heel-first, keeping toes clear of the opening.

3

Heel to the back

Stand child upright, heel firmly at back of shoe.

4

Fasten securely

Snug but not tight — foot should flex freely at ankle.

5

Check toe room

A thumb's width of space = the right fit.
